CONNECTION™

AI Governance & Human Oversight Framework

Last updated: 2026-02-15

1. Framework Purpose

This framework establishes the governance principles and operational boundaries for all artificial intelligence and operational intelligence capabilities deployed within Connection™ platforms.

2. Fundamental Principle: Human Authority Primacy

All intelligence capabilities within Connection™ operate exclusively as decision-support tools. Executive authority over all operational decisions remains with authorized human personnel. No automated system possesses autonomous decision-making authority over critical operations.

3. Human Verification Checkpoints

Every critical decision node incorporates a mandatory human verification checkpoint before execution. These checkpoints are architecturally embedded and cannot be bypassed through configuration or operational override.

The human-in-the-loop requirement applies to: protocol execution decisions, security posture modifications, access control changes, stakeholder communication authorizations, and operational escalation triggers.

4. Audit and Accountability

All decision-support processes generate comprehensive audit logs that record: the recommendation provided, the human authority who reviewed and approved the action, the timestamp of authorization, and the outcome of execution.

Audit logs are immutable and retained in accordance with the Company's data retention policy.

5. Risk Management Integration

AI governance is integrated with the Company's institutional risk management framework. Risk assessments are conducted for all intelligence capabilities before deployment, and ongoing monitoring ensures continued alignment with institutional risk tolerance.

6. Prohibited Applications

Connection™ intelligence capabilities shall not be deployed for: autonomous decision-making without human oversight, surveillance activities that violate applicable law, manipulation of diplomatic or institutional processes, or any application that undermines sovereign institutional authority.
